C.Subramanian or C.S.Mani Iyer was the eldest son of Chamukutty Iyer and Meenakshi Ammal. He lived first in Kanjikiode, in Palakkad District, Kerala, India. He married Annapoorani, and moved to Burma. They had one daughter, Thankam. Later the family moved back to India. Annapoorani passed away, and later Subramania Iyer married Lakshmi. A son, Raju was born. Subramania Iyer worked as an accountant for many years in Madras before he passed away in the 1980's. He is survived by his wife, Lakshmi , daughter Thankam and son Raju who continued to live in Madras.
